What data about me is collected or stored?

Nothing personally identifiable is collected. There is one cookie that stores:

• Your (anonymous) session, allowing you to store uploads.
• The selection of source/target language you last used.

Other than that, your IP address may be stored temporarily in web server log files in order to identify service problems and count traffic.

Who owns my words/examples?

You do, and your examples and words are not shared with other users. An exception to this are examples fetched from Tatoeba or the Leipzig Corpora Collection. These are licensed under permissive licenses (e.g. Creative Commons, CC-By) as indicated with each example.

When is data deleted?

Your session lasts for one year. If you haven't logged in or used the site for a full year, your uploads will be deleted. You can prolong this session by one year by simply logging out and in again.
